TPC - TECHNICAL POLICY COMMITTEE

Terms of Reference

1. Technical Policy Committee reports to the Board of Directors and MCCB to whom it should provide summary executive reports and proposals.

2. The Technical Policy committee shall exercise its powers and carry out its duties with a sense of objective judgment and impartiality in the best interests of the ENEC and CCA Signatories.

3. The Technical Policy Committee supervises and handles matters relating to the operational and technical aspects of the Schemes such as but not limited to:

a) Advise the MCCB on technical issues

b) Maintenance and development of the operational and technical documents relevant for the ENEC and/or CCA Schemes.

c) Follow the change of IECEE operational documents, and initiate updates of European scheme documents if necessary.

d) Review and validate Test Report Forms developed either directly or by the Scheme Members of ENEC and CCA;

e) Give advice on requests for interpretations on certification issues inside the schemes administrated by ETICS.

f) Provide lecturers on workshops and seminars to promote third party conformity assessment on sectors falling under the relevant ENEC and/or CCA Schemes.

4. The Chairman or the Secretary of each OSM, at their convenience and availability, is invited on a permanent basis to participate in the TPC meetings.

5. The TPC can establish and coordinate Task Forces and WGs.
